Signarama Houston — Houston, TX
Full-time • On-site • Monday–Friday schedule with occasional early starts
A day in this role
Start your morning aligning the production board with live orders. You’ll confirm permits and proofs, stage materials, and brief the team. By mid-morning, you’re lining up local crews, checking truck readiness, and finalizing install packets for out-of-town partners. Afternoons focus on shop flow—balancing print, CNC, vinyl, and lamination queues—while keeping an eye on preventive maintenance and safety. You’ll review progress against month-end targets, clear any blockers, and wrap the day by verifying QA, scheduling, and invoicing handoffs.
What you’ll own
- End-to-end production flow: receiving, design coordination, permitting, fabrication, QA, scheduling, installation, and invoicing—without stalls.
- Local field operations: plan daily/weekly installs and service calls; ensure every truck departs with the right materials and tools.
- National installs: manage subcontracted installer partners across the U.S., from complete install packages through punch lists and completion photos.
- Asset readiness: maintain wide-format printers, CNC routers, plotters, laminators, and the vehicle fleet to minimize downtime.
- Team leadership: hire, onboard, and coach production staff; uphold a clean, organized, and safe shop.
- Throughput and targets: forecast capacity, sequence work, and close jobs to achieve monthly production and revenue goals.
