Lewy Physical Therapy is growing and hiring a part-time Physical Therapist for an outpatient orthopedics position in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available. New graduates are welcome, and mentorship is provided to ensure every new hire feels fully confident and supported in their role.
About the Role
You will treat a general orthopedic caseload with some focus on the geriatric population, along with a small number of neuro and stroke patients. Manual therapy skills are valued, and the ideal candidate is a passionate, empathetic team player. Patients at Lewy Physical Therapy typically see the same therapist at each visit, allowing for meaningful continuity of care. The clinic offers both aquatic and land-based treatment programs.
Schedule
The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 7am to 7pm, Friday from 8am to 5pm, and Saturday from 7am to 1pm. Up to 30 hours per week are available, and candidates with a minimum of 15 hours of availability per week will also be considered. Saturday hours are optional for interested candidates.
Compensation
Physical Therapists are paid a competitive hourly rate in the range of $50 to $60 per hour based on experience and specialty certifications, with compensation increasing based on qualifications.
Qualifications
A degree in Physical Therapy is required. Candidates must be eligible for Louisiana state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Prior experience is not required and new graduate PTs are welcome. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the United States without restriction.
