Nesco Resource is currently seeking a skilled Side Frame Welder for one of our premier clients. This position performs critical welding operations on side frame assemblies using straight MIG and fluxcore welding procedures.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform welding operations on side frame assemblies utilizing straight MIG and fluxcore procedures.
• Comprehend and adhere to production schedules to ensure timely delivery of product, with the ability to adapt to scheduling changes.
• Inspect work performed within the department to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
• Utilize hand tools and tape measures while accurately reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Maintain an organized workplace and keep clean records of all jobs performed in the department.
• Operate equipment safely, including training to use an overhead crane.

• Must pass visual welding tests (horizontal, downhill, and overhead using straight MIG; horizontal using fluxcore).
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with co-workers and management.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Prior experience in the welding and fit-up of side frames is a plus.
