What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-quality care to critically ill ICU patients, including post-op cardiac, transplant, and medical/surgical recoveries
  • Monitor and manage patients with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and other advanced devices
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain meticulous documentation, including Epic EMR workflows
  • Respond swiftly to emergency situations, including temporary assignment to emergency teams as needed
  • Assist with patient stabilization and post-op recovery from surgeries such as CABG, valve repairs, and transplant procedures
What You Need
  • Required:
    • Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
    • BLS, ACLS, NIH certification
    • 2+ years of ICU experience, specifically with high-acuity patients
    • Epic EMR experience is preferred
  • Preferred:
    • Experience with PA catheters and balloon pumps
    • Past work in transplant ICU or CVICU
