What Youll Do
- Provide high-quality care to critically ill ICU patients, including post-op cardiac, transplant, and medical/surgical recoveries
- Monitor and manage patients with PA catheters, balloon pumps, and other advanced devices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain meticulous documentation, including Epic EMR workflows
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations, including temporary assignment to emergency teams as needed
- Assist with patient stabilization and post-op recovery from surgeries such as CABG, valve repairs, and transplant procedures
What You Need
- Required:
- Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
- BLS, ACLS, NIH certification
- 2+ years of ICU experience, specifically with high-acuity patients
- Epic EMR experience is preferred
- Preferred:
- Experience with PA catheters and balloon pumps
- Past work in transplant ICU or CVICU
