About the Role:SafeLink Transit LLC is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Shuttle/Bus Driver to join our growing team in Elk Grove, CA! Responsibilities:- Safely operate shuttle buses and passenger vehicles along designated routes
- Transport passengers to and from scheduled stops in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Assist passengers with boarding, seating, and securing mobility devices as needed
- Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and incident reports
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and transit regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and supervisors regarding route updates or issues
Requirements:- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement required
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Previous experience operating shuttle buses, transit vehicles, or passenger transport preferred
- Strong knowledge of Elk Grove and surrounding Sacramento area roadways
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, courteous demeanor
- Punctual, dependable, and committed to passenger safety at all times
