This is more than just a driving job. You’ll help our residents stay connected, active, and engaged while ensuring they get where they need to go safely and comfortably.
What You’ll Do
- Provide Safe Transportation: Drive residents to appointments, outings, shopping trips, community events, and other destinations.
- Support Our Residents: Assist residents getting in and out of the vehicle and provide extra support for those with mobility needs.
- Create a Great Experience: Be a friendly, patient, and helpful presence while transporting and accompanying residents.
- Care for Our Vehicles: Keep community vehicles clean, safe, and ready for each trip.
- Put Safety First: Complete routine vehicle inspections and follow all local, state, and federal driving and passenger safety requirements.
- Stay Organized: Maintain required vehicle records and documentation.
- Be Part of the Team: Support activities and other areas of the community when transportation needs allow.
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- CDL Class B with passenger endorsement preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safe driving.
- Friendly and patient with a genuine desire to work with seniors.
- Comfortable assisting residents with mobility or other needs.
- Strong communication skills and a professional, helpful attitude.
