BuildMyPlace is growing, and we're looking for an outgoing, motivated Showroom Sales Consultant to join our Louisville team. We offer a wide selection of flooring, cabinetry, kitchen and bath products, tile, lighting, and other building and remodeling products—all designed to help our customers bring their projects to life.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and engage homeowners, contractors, builders, and remodelers in our Louisville showroom.
• Understand customer projects and recommend products and solutions that fit their needs, style, budget, and timeline.
• Build relationships and manage customers from the first conversation through the sale.
• Follow up with leads, past customers, quotes, and open opportunities to generate sales.
• Develop quotes and sales orders while accurately managing project details.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently work toward individual sales goals.
• Attend local home shows, builder events, networking opportunities, and community events to generate new business.
• Deliver a five-star customer experience and help make BuildMyPlace a trusted home improvement destination in Louisville.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience.
• Experience in home improvement, building materials, flooring, cabinetry, kitchen and bath, construction, remodeling, furniture, or a related industry is a plus.
• 2+ years of experience working in a performance-driven sales environment with clearly defined metrics and goals.
• Demonstrates the behaviors needed for success in the role and aligns with BuildMyPlace values, including being Driven, Accountable, Integrity-Focused, Collaborative, and Organized.
• Salesforce or similar CRM experience preferred.
• Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working toward measurable sales goals.
• Ability to manage multiple customers and projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working onsite in our Louisville showroom with scheduling flexibility.

Compensation

Base pay + commission, giving you the opportunity to grow your earnings as you grow your sales.
