Required Experience
2-3 years of related experience in a showroom, design, hospitality, or client-facing environment. Experience in commercial or office furniture preferred but not required. Strong organizational skills, energetic personality, and a genuine passion for design and the interiors industry.
Description
This is a great opportunity to be the face of a beautiful new showroom in Chicago's Fulton Market for a well-established commercial furniture manufacturer. The role is part operations, part sales support, part brand ambassador, and the right person will bring energy and personality to all three.
Chicago's contract furniture market is active and growing. Corporate, hospitality, healthcare, and mixed-use projects keep the pipeline moving, and Fulton Market has become a genuine destination in the industry. The showroom is a strategic asset for the brand, and the person running it matters.
Day to day, you'll manage the showroom calendar, coordinate dealer and designer visits, plan and execute events and client presentations, maintain product displays, handle vendor relationships, and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. The brand sells through a dealer network, so a big part of this role is making sure dealers, designers, and end-users are engaged, informed, and excited about the product. You'll work closely with the Territory Manager and sales team to support open opportunities, follow up on house accounts, and help get the brand in front of the right people on the right projects.
This is not a job for someone who wants to sit at a desk. It's for someone who likes being in the middle of things, can manage a lot of moving parts without losing the details, and genuinely enjoys the world of furniture.
Two to three years of experience in a showroom, design firm, hospitality, or similar environment is ideal. Commercial furniture or interior design experience is a plus but not a requirement. If you're organized, personable, and ready to make a great showroom even better, we'd love to hear from you.
