We are seeking a skilled Shop Technician with their own tools and tool box, to join a busy pull-behind trailer repair team. In this role, you ll diagnose and repair a variety of trailer systems, including electrical, braking, suspension, and structural components. From preventative maintenance and accident damage repair to welding and flooring replacement, you ll play a key role in ensuring trailers meet safety standards and DOT requirements while delivering quality workmanship every day.
Requirements for Shop Technician:
Proficiency with hand and power tools
Experience with diagnostic equipment
Carpentry and welding skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Record-keeping skills
Responsibilities for Shop Technician:
Diagnose and repair trailer systems
Perform preventative maintenance
Repair accident damage
Welding and flooring replacement
Ensure work meets safety standards and DOT requirements
Utilize hand and power tools effectively
Maintain accurate records of work performed
