As a Shop Technician, you perform custom hose and tubing fabrication for our walk-in retail customers. Using your exceptional customer service skills, you accurately specify the correct replacement assembly based on customer-provided samples and specifications.
Successful candidates will be fully trained to operate purpose-built PIRTEK specialized equipment designed to fabricate hose assemblies.Experience with hydraulic hoses is not required - we will train you! Are you motivated to learn and advance your skills? Do you have mechanical aptitude and enjoy fixing things? Are you a customer service rockstar? Do you have good communication skills? Are you detail-oriented? Are you self-motivated? Do you take pride in your work? If so, you may be the Shop Technician we're looking for! You also answer phones, assist with billing, and keep our shop clean, organized, and welcoming. You are meticulous about tracking inventory.
You are part of the backbone that our field technicians depend on to keep their jobs flowing smoothly by providing inventory and restock support. Our field technicians appreciate that they can depend on you to ensure that they have what they need when they need it. You play an important part in helping us complete jobs properly and efficiently. You love the satisfaction that you get out of keeping everything in order and providing exceptional service for our customers.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Mechanically Inclined; Must have hands on experiences in auto repair, off-road vehicle repair or machinery repair
- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills
- Positive attitude & Self-motivated
- Sound organization and planning skills
Benefits:
- Competitive compensation: $18-$25 per hour (40 hours per week), depending on experience, plus overtime payment; bonus may be granted monthly based on generated revenue
