Shop Technician
Job Summary
A company in Conroe, Tx is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Shop Technician to join our team. This position will support day-to-day shop operations and assist with hands-on mechanical and equipment-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working in a shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform general shop and technician duties as assigned
- Assist with mechanical and equipment-related tasks
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist with the movement and handling of materials and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Support technicians and other shop personnel as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
The following skills are recommended but not required:
- Mechanical experience or mechanical aptitude
- Basic electrical skills
- Forklift experience
- Overhead crane experience
- Previous shop, industrial, or manufacturing experience
Requirements
- Must be available to work Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
- Must be willing and able to work overtime during the week and on weekends when needed
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work safely in a hands-on shop environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Overtime: Required as needed, including weekday and weekend overtime
