Website Universal Plant Services, LLC Shop Runner Now Hiring: Shop Runner / Parts Logistics Specialist Location: Midland, TX Schedule: Monday - Friday | Saturdays & Sundays (Flexibility to support operational needs due to projects) Pay: Competitive - Based on Skills & Experience Join the Universal Plant Services Team Universal Plant Services is seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Shop Runner / Parts Logistics Specialist to support our Midland operations. This position is essential to keeping our field crews productive by ensuring tools, equipment, and materials are organized, maintained, and delivered where they're needed. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory of company tools, equipment, parts, and consumables. Organize and manage warehouse, storage, and staging areas for efficient operations. Prepare, coordinate, and transport tools, equipment, and materials for active and upcoming projects. Receive, inspect, and process incoming parts, materials, and equipment deliveries. Perform routine inventory counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy. Identify inventory shortages and assist with replenishment. Prepare tool and equipment packages for project mobilization and demobilization. Track equipment check-outs, returns, and assignments. Coordinate logistics with project managers, field supervisors, vendors, and suppliers. Ensure tools and equipment are cleaned, serviced, calibrated, and ready for deployment. Respond to urgent field requests to keep projects on schedule. Follow all company safety policies and inventory control procedures. Perform other duties as assigned to support shop and field operations. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse, shop, logistics, inventory, or industrial environment preferred. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation. Ability to safely lift and move equipment and materials. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred. Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
