We are a growing specialty construction contractor focused on retaining wall construction, earthwork, and site development projects throughout the DFW Metroplex. Our crews build gravity and mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) retaining wall systems for commercial, infrastructure, and development projects.

Job Details

The Shop Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing company equipment to keep field operations running efficiently. This role is based out of the Fort Worth shop and supports construction crews by ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and job-ready.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on construction equipment, trucks, trailers, and tools.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and electrical issues.
  • Complete preventative maintenance services and equipment inspections.
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records.
  • Assist with parts pickups and material deliveries using a company-provided truck.
  • Keep the shop organized, clean, and safe.
  • Support equipment mobilization and readiness for active projects.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of mechanic experience, preferably in construction equipment or fleet maintenance.
  • Experience with skid steers, mini excavators, compact equipment, trailers, and pickups.
  • Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
