Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Range: $75,000/Yr. to $100,000/Yr.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the store team to deliver a professional, customer-first experience that builds trust, repeat business, and long-term customer relationships.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, coach, and develop teammates to drive performance, engagement, and retention.
  • Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable while maintaining a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused work environment.
  • Analyze store metrics and execute action plans to meet or exceed targets—sales, car count, average repair order, gross profit, labor, productivity, conversion, and controllable expenses.
  • Own store-level P&L by driving revenue growth, labor efficiency, cost control, and inventory discipline.
  • Manage parts and tire inventory in the POS, including receiving, invoicing, returns, core returns, and warranty tracking.
  • Resolve escalated customer concerns with urgency and professionalism, partnering with District leadership and Customer Care as needed.
  • Serve as the primary store contact for vendors, facilities, and equipment needs, escalating through the appropriate channels.
  • Keep the store clean, safe, organized, and compliant with company standards, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Work a flexible schedule based on business needs—including opening and closing shifts, weekends, and occasional holidays as applicable; perform other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

The right candidate is a hands-on automotive service or retail leader who can build a strong team, deliver a great customer experience, manage store performance, and create a positive, accountable culture in a fast-paced environment.

  • 5+ years of experience in automotive service, tire, retail, or store management, with a strong track record of success in sales, operations, and team leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Experience managing store performance, operational plans, KPIs, budgets, labor, inventory, or P&L-related results.
  • Strong customer service, sales, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to resolve issues professionally and follow through on commitments.
  • Ability to work in a process-driven environment with attention to detail, accountability, and sound judgment.
  • Comfortable using POS systems, basic computer tools, reports, and store performance data to guide decisions and coach performance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records check.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including Saturdays, opening and closing shifts, and occasional holidays as applicable.

Preferred:

  • Automotive service, tire, or mechanical experience strongly preferred.
  • Previous Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, Service Manager, or multi-department retail leadership experience preferred.
  • State Inspector License, in applicable locations, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
  • Associate degree, technical certification, or ASE-related certification preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Automotive shop and retail store environment with exposure to moderate to loud noise, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, and caustic materials.
  • Temperature variations may include extreme heat and/or extreme cold.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the store, shop, parking lot, and customer areas as needed.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move throughout the shop and store environment regularly.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and refocus; use of safety goggles or other PPE as required.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, teammates, vendors, field leaders, and support teams.
