Description
Bring your steel fabrication leadership to Beebe, AR and help drive high-impact structural and miscellaneous steel projects from award through closeout. This Shop Manager opportunity combines hands-on production oversight with strong safety and quality ownership in a Monday–Friday schedule.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this Shop Manager position include:
- Proven experience in steel fabrication operations, production management, or a closely related leadership role.
- Thorough understanding of structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection processes.
- Familiarity with American Welding Society (AWS) standards and requirements.
- Oversee multiple structural and miscellaneous steel projects from award through closeout, including production planning, scheduling, fabrication, staffing, maintenance, job costing, billing coordination, quality, and safety.
- Hire, terminate, evaluate, and manage shop/field employees, and forecast manpower needs while coordinating pay or status changes.
- Enforce PPE requirements and support workplace hazard assessments.
- Plan, organize, schedule, and oversee shop production for multiple active projects; adjust priorities when material shortages, change notices, or other issues arise.
- Maintain strong project financial management by monitoring live job costs, reviewing estimated versus actual costs, and providing accurate information for progress payments and project billing.
Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
