Shop Maintenance Technician:
Our established client in Brunswick, Ohio is seeking a dependable, hands-on Shop Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical aptitude to help keep the shop and material handling equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with their hands, and taking ownership of day-to-day maintenance needs in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, youll perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of shop equipment and material handling equipment, respond to breakdowns, and help identify issues before they become larger problems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently while also communicating clearly with the team to prioritize repairs and keep operations moving.
Hours: - 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Overtime as needed
Pay: - $25.00 per hour+ based on experience.
Key Responsibilities: - Maintenance and repair of material handling equipment
- Perform general shop maintenance and cleanup
- Painting and light welding as needed
- Mechanical work on industrial batteries, forklifts, and reach trucks
- Communicate clearly and work well with a team or independently
Minimum Requirements:- Strong mechanical skills and ability
- Industrial maintenance experience
- Forklift operation experience
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Preferred Education and Experience: - Prior shop or equipment maintenance experience
- Welding experience
- Experience working on forklifts, reach trucks, or industrial batteries
