Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Shop Foreman / Maintenance Manager to join their client's team in California. This supervisory role is perfect for a seasoned professional who is ready to oversee maintenance operations and ensure that all shop activities are running smoothly. The successful candidate will lead a team, manage resources, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations within the maintenance shop, ensuring all equipment and machinery are functioning optimally.
  • Coordinate and prioritize maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
  • Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure team efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team.
  • Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and parts to ensure availability when needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure maintenance activities align with overall company objectives.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance metrics and performance, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as necessary for specialized repairs and services.
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation and records are accurately maintained and updated.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma required.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role.

Required Work Hours

The position requires availability to work a flexible schedule, including Monday through Sunday, during the first shift.

Benefits

The position offers competitive compensation with a maximum pay of $70,000.00 annually. The role involves around 0% travel time, allowing the candidate to focus on onsite responsibilities.
