Metalcrafters NC is hiring a Shop Fabricator to join our growing team. This role is critical to the production of high-quality miscellaneous metal products including stairs, railings, platforms, and custom fabrication projects.

What You’ll Do
- Fabricate metal products according to shop drawings and specifications
- Process fabrication orders daily to meet production and delivery schedules
- Read and interpret shop drawings and measurements accurately
- Operate and maintain shop equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Follow all Metalcrafters safety and quality control standards
- Utilize the Metalcrafters app for accurate job tracking and accountability
- Complete all required paperwork and production reporting
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Welding and metal fabrication experience
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to think quickly and problem solve
- Organized and capable of handling multiple tasks
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing demands
- Maintain required certifications (First Aid, CPR, forklift, scissor lift, telehandler, combi lift, etc.)
- Reliable and punctual—ready to work on time every day
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening (periodic updates required)
