    Student staff positions at Shoals Marine Laboratory help support the lab's daily operations with tasks that include meal preparation in the kitchen, meal cleanup, light housekeeping and general upkeep of our grounds and trails.

    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Dishwashing, food preparation, sweeping, mopping

    • Light housecleaning to include but not be limited to sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms and shower stalls, moving trash

    • Light landscaping, including mowing, weed trimming, trail maintenance

    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • Student staff positions are only available to students registered in at least one credit course at SML during the summer.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Able to lift 25 pounds

    • Comfortable living and working in community

    Compensation Pay Range:

    $15.10/hour
