    Position Summary

    The Shipping Warehouse Coordinator owns the overall organization, flow, and efficiency of the warehouse, overseeing the receiving of raw materials and components as well as the shipping of finished goods. This role enures storage areas are organized and clearly labeled, inventory records are accurate, and materials move efficiently between receiving, storage, production, and outbound shipping. The Coordinator works closely with production, quality, and purchasing teams to keep the warehouse running smoothly and prevent distruptions to the production schedule.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee the layout, organization, and labeling of warehouse storage areas to maximize space and efficiency

    • Coordinate and manage receipt of raw materials, components, and supplies against purchase orders and packaging lists

    • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and quanity. Document and escalate discrepancies or damage to Quality and Purchasing

    • Coordinate outbound shipments of finished goods with the Office Coordinator

    • Verify outgoing shipments against work orders, bills of lading, and customer purchase orders

    • Stage and replenish materials for production lines, coordinating with the production supervisor on shortages or overages

    • Lead or support regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy

    • Maintain standard work processes for warehouse organization, put-away, and material flow

    • Ensure warehouse safety, housekeeping, and compliance with OSHA and facility policies

    • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely

    • Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders regarding delays, shortages, or exceptions

    • All other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in supply chain, logistics , or related field a plus

    • 2-4 years of warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or materials handling experiene in a manufacturing or industrial environment

    • Forklift certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire

    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to design and maintain efficient storage and material flow

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment

    • Ability to lead and interpret bills of lading, packing slips, and work orders

    • Ability to lift up to 56 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on warehouse/production floor

    • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, data entry)

    • Strong communication and leadership skills. Comfortable coordinating across production, quality, and purchasing teams

    Preferred Skills

    • Familiarity with hazardous materials handling and DOT shipping regulations, if applicable

    • Knowledge of quality management systems

    Work Environment

    This position is based in a manufacturing/warehouse environment and involves exposure to varying temperatures, noise, dust, and machinery. Regular physical activity is required, including lifting, bending, standing, and operating material handling equipment.
