Shipping Technician (Swing Shift)
Job Location: Benicia, California
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $22-$22.25/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 2:30pm-11pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience in shipping, warehouse operations, or order fulfillment and are looking for a swing shift opportunity? Our client is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Shipping Technicians to join their team in a clean, safe, and innovative warehouse environment.
As a Shipping Technician, you'll play an important role in ensuring finished products are picked, packed, palletized, and prepared for distribution accurately and efficiently. You'll follow established procedures, maintain order accuracy, and help ensure customers receive products that meet strict quality standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick a variety of customer orders while following company procedures and quality standards
- Verify products and order information to ensure shipments are complete and accurate
- Maintain order integrity while unloading and organizing carts and pallets
- Pack finished goods neatly and securely for distribution
- Build, stack, and shrink wrap pallets for shipment
- Operate assigned warehouse equipment and machinery safely
Description of Company:
You will be supporting a well established supplement company in Benicia, California.
Experience Required:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous warehouse, shipping, packing, or order fulfillment experience preferred
- Ability to pick and pack order accurately and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established procedures
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
- Ability to safely handle products and ingredients derived from potentially allergenic sources, including nuts, soy, dairy, fish, and shellfish
