    Description

    Areas of Responsibility / TasksResponsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping & receiving of materials and assisting maintain accurate inventory and associated records. Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Work in collaboration with other managers and team members to ensure we achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain processes, housekeeping, and safety requirements. The Shipping Supervisor is responsible for the floor day-to-day operations in the warehouse.

    Essential Functions

    Work in a safe manner and follow all company rules and policies concerning safety and PPE and ensure that we have a productive, safe, clean, and efficient work environment.Perform monthly audits as assigned by Quality.Supervise, monitor, coordinate, and prioritize the activities of Shipping and Receiving employees.To keep open and constant communication level with Maintenance departmentLead daily toolbox talks and meetings to discuss safety and maintenance related issues or topics.Maintain productivity and quality levels as set by the Warehouse Manager.Identify damages and report overages/shortages for quality deficiencies.Collaborate with the Inventory Supervisor to ensure all inventory data is recorded accurately.Manage Daily Outbound/Inbound activities related to Work Orders.Enter any required data point in handheld device(s).Collaborate with office teams to ensure all loads meet appointment, labeling, and documentation requirements.Ensure RBT's equipment is properly maintained and all relevant documentation such as inspection reports are being turned in.Identify the team's training needs and address them with the Warehouse Manager.Assist Warehouse Manager with performance evaluations within the department.Commit to OCS Blue & OSHA Safety facility StandardPerform any additional duties assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

    Demonstrable knowledge of Bag Packaging Lines (FF&S), Palletizers, bags printing, labeling systems and conveying systemsMinimum 2 years of experience managing Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance and production planning.Knowledge of proper PPE use and requirementsFunctional knowledge of handling rail cars.Proficient using Microsoft Office programs like: Word, Excel, Power Point,Teams.Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interface with and motivate all levels of personnel.Good math, language, writing and reading skillsKnowledge and use of basic hand tools, I&E equipment (Multimeter, Meggers, etc.).Knowledge of safety regulations, energy isolation, lockout, JSAs, and line breaking procedures.Ability to recognize working hazards in high voltage and near exposed energized electrical line

    Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications

    Education: Education: High School diploma/GED (required)Experience:

    Minimum 5 years in related positions or within an industrial environment with knowledge of methods, principles, practices of operating, maintaining a safe and productive warehouse environment.High School Diploma/GEDGood math, language, and reading skillsKnowledge of proper PPE requirementsExcellent interpersonal skills.Ability to be flexible with the work schedule.Be able to perform safely in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.Ability to adjust and resolve daily tasks when arise.Proficiency in technology is required, including the ability to learn and effectively use business software, mobile devices, and operational systems.

    Licenses / Certifications:

    Valid Driver's LicenseOSAH 10 (Preferred)

    Language:

    Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required.Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish preferred).

    Work Environment / ConditionsThe work environment/conditions described herein are representative of those that an incumbent may experience, and therefore

    Must be adaptable to work in a shared space, with constant noise.Ability to work in varying temperatures, including non-climate-controlled environment, with exposure to heat, humidity, and cold temperatures depending upon seasonTypically spends 90% of time in the operations environment (Floor) and 10% of time in an administrative environment.
