Shipping & Receiving Supervisor (NE)

We’re Looking For A(n): Shipping & Receiving Supervisor

Location: Seward, NE

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Supervise Material Handlers and ensure proper procedures and policies are being followed
• Enforce and uphold Golden Pet Manufacturing work rules, policies, procedures and report any known violation
• Supervise loading and unloading of trailers to include inspection of the same
• Maintain, update and develop shipping and receiving documents as needed
• Investigate root cause and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Coordinate and prioritize selection of orders, stock transfers, and production receipts as it relates to safety, quality and efficiency
• Maintain established pre-shipment inspection programs to prevent incorrect stock shipments
• Maintain effective employee relations to improve motivation and productivity through the use of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing concepts
• Train employees and monitor performance to ensure work processes are accomplished in a timely and effective manner using flawless control over held products, rotation, damage control, GMP and BRC standards

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 5 years experience in shipping and receiving
• ERP and inventory control background
• Comfortable operating a forklift
