Shipping & Receiving Supervisor

An established manufacturer in the Metro Atlanta area is hiring a Shipping & Receiving / Logistics Supervisor. This role owns the full flow of goods in and out of the plant, from freight scheduling to keeping the dock audit-ready, and reports directly into operations leadership.

$25-$30 per hour / 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday / Excellent Benefits!

What You'll Do:

• Prepare, verify, package, label, and process outbound shipments, including samples and special customer instructions
• Receive inbound materials and products, inspect paperwork, confirm quantities, and route items to correct locations
• Schedule pickups, coordinate carriers, manage freight details, and resolve routine shipping and delivery issues
• Maintain an organized, safe, shipment-ready dock and warehouse area, including finished goods, Kanban, and staging locations
• Maintain a 1-2 week forward shipment schedule and coordinate with production so upcoming shipments are staged and documented ahead of ship dates
• Keep ERP records, packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping documentation accurate and current
• Resolve routine freight and carrier issues

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of shipping/receiving or warehouse supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Forklift certification
• ERP transactional experience
• UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL freight, or international shipping experience
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through with minimal oversight
• Experience with Acumatica or Microsoft Dynamics preferred
