$20.00-$22.00 per hour on 1st shift. This is an excellent family-owned manufacturing company. Once hired, employees become eligible for medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) with a 6% company match, paid holidays, PTO, and additional company benefits.

Job Responsibilities

This Shipping & Receiving Specialist position is a hands-on role supporting both the warehouse and manufacturing departments. A typical day includes receiving incoming shipments, preparing customer orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate shipping documentation. When shipping activity slows, you'll assist production employees on the shop floor with material handling and basic manufacturing support.

Responsibilities include:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments
Load and unload trucks using a sit-down forklift
Pull, stage, package, and prepare customer orders for shipment
Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and complete shipping paperwork
Coordinate freight pickups and deliveries
Wrap, label, and build pallets for shipment
Maintain inventory of shipping supplies
Enter shipping and receiving information into the company computer system
Assist production employees with shop floor duties as needed
Use hand and power tools safely
Read and follow work orders and production instructions
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Required Qualifications
Must be able to accurately read a tape measure up to 1/32" (Required and will be tested)
1-2 years of Shipping & Receiving experience preferred
Sit-down forklift experience
Experience using hand and power tools
Basic computer skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Work Environment

This is a third-generation, family-owned manufacturer of environmental test chambers and metal finishing equipment. Employees work in a non-temperature-controlled manufacturing facility alongside a small team of 10-15 people. The culture is respectful, hands-on, and team-focused, with everyone willing to help where needed.
