Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join a busy manufacturing operation in Owasso. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, preparing outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are processed safely and efficiently.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic computer skills for shipping documentation and inventory tracking
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Forklift experience is a plus
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
Prepare, package, and stage outgoing orders for shipment
Safely load and unload trucks using proper material handling procedures
Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records
Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations
Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as certified and assigned
Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock organization
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
Perform additional warehouse and shipping duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing warehouse experience
Forklift certification or operating experience
Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping documentation
Experience with cycle counts and inventory control processes
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive physical activity throughout the shift
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment while wearing required PPE
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment
Work Environment
Industrial warehouse and manufacturing facility
Fast-paced environment supporting production, inventory, and shipping operations
Exposure to forklifts, pallet jacks, shipping equipment, and warehouse traffic
