Shipping / Receiving Operator
The Shipping / Receiving Operator is responsible for the receipt, storage, handling and inventory management of inbound and outbound materials. The operator is expected to accurately and consistently operate all equipment and/or machinery according to training and SOP protocols.

Responsibilites:
Load and unload inbound and outbound freight, trucks, and trailers.
Operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
Conduct mandatory daily equipment and safety inspections.
Work with the Logistics Coordinator to receive and match shipping / receiving documents by PO to ensure orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory.
Wrap, label, and secure loads properly before transport.

Required Skills:
Education - High School diploma or GED
Valid forklift operator certification or license
Basic math skills
Computer knowledge and basic use of Microsoft Office Software
Physical demands - The position requires that employees must be able to lift, carry, pull and push equipment, materials and other required items up to 50 pounds.

Experience:
2-3 years experience in a manufacturing or chemical plant preferred
Minimum 3 years' experience in the operation of moving equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, and etc)
