Shipper/Receiver – Manufacturing

Pay: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Shipper/Receiver to join a growing manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, and coordinating the movement of materials and finished goods.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shipping and receiving, warehouse or logistics operations, be comfortable working in an ERP system, and have excellent attention to detail. Forklift certification/license is required.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities for the manufacturing facility
- Work closely with the Production Supervisor to coordinate shipments around production schedules
- Arrange inbound and outbound domestic shipments and transportation
- Obtain shipping/freight quotes and select cost-effective transportation options
- Prepare and distribute shipping documentation, including pick lists and Bills of Lading (BOLs)
- Coordinate shipments with procurement and supply chain teams
- Review freight invoices and verify charges against quoted rates
- Address freight discrepancies, damages, and shipping claims
- Enter and maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory information in the ERP system
- Coordinate cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation
- Maintain accurate inventory records and help ensure materials are available when needed
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and OSHA requirements
- Support the overall organization and efficiency of the warehouse and shipping areas
