Shipping & Receiving / IT Hardware Technician

We are looking for a team member to join the Manufacturing department.

Shift Details: 9am – 6pm, In Person: Middletown, CT

Salary: $38k - $43k

Responsibilities and skills needed include:

· Ability to follow manufacturing instructions to build, assemble, package and ship various technology components including PCs, switches, media player devices, interactive kiosks and more.

· Ability to learn inventory tracking software and follow documented processes for shipping and receiving. Experience with manufacturing software such as Fishbowl a plus.

· Maintain a clean and clutter-free working environment this includes delivery distribution and packaging breakdown (and disposal).

· Ensure demo hardware is in good working order and condition.  Coordinate with others, i.e. development and or creative team members for their support as needed.

· Have good interpersonal skills to work closely with Project Coordinators, Project Managers and Operational Support.

· Produce various reports as needed.

· Review reports and follow up internally and with partner vendors on open items to ensure open items are received and completed.

· Facilitate and assist incoming deliveries, both via FedEx/UPS and Freight Shipments.

· Process logistic claims as needed.

· Additional job duties as assigned.

· Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times.

· Prepare mailing labels and shipping documents corresponding to shipping needs.
