Currently we are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our team and be an essential part of our Booneville, MS manufacturing team. The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator will receive, unpack, and examine incoming goods and verify the completeness of shipments against bills of lading and/or other records. Pack and ships outgoing merchandise and keep records of shipments.
Your Role in Our Mission:
- Responsible for the daily inventory transactions consisting of purchase order receiving, warehouse transferring, and parts order invoicing.
- Unload and check all received goods for quality, damage, and accuracy of load.
- Coordinate stock of replacement parts to be shipped by packing, completing associated paperwork, and arranging for shipping company to pick up.
- Verify materials received are as ordered and routes incoming items to appropriate departments or locations.
- Load finished product on flat bed using forklift and complete associated paperwork.
- Use our ERP system, Epicor, to book freight and keep track of orders and inventory.
- When needed, operate s forklift in a safe manner and report all hazards associated with the equipment to the Safety and Maintenance Department.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate personal workflow.
- Assist other individuals in areas when needed.
To Perform this Job Successfully:
- Forklift experience required.
- Excelled oral and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft and Outlook programs.
- Experience with an ERP system.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Clean and maintain an orderly work area.
