Shipping Receiving Clerk

The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving, inspecting, storing, preparing and shipping finished good products. " Receiving and verifying incoming materials and products such as, but not limited to, quantities, condition, documentation against purchase orders and packing slips.

Pay Rate $17.00/hour to $17.50/hour
Hours Mon to Fri 7am to 4pm
Duration 6 months

Qualifications:
" High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
" Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Shipping and Receiving
" Sit Down forklift experience required
" Positive attitude and team player
" Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize
" Ability to lift 50 lbs.
" Safety Oriented
" Dependable
" Able to communicate effectively

Responsibilities:
" Receiving and verifying incoming materials and products such as, but not limited to, quantities, condition, documentation against purchase orders and packing slips.
" Inspect shipment for damage or shortages and promptly report issues to the appropriate manager.
" Prepare outbound shipments by picking, packing, labeling, staging and securing materials in accordance with the SOP established.
" Verify product quantities, customer orders, shipping documentation and carrier information prior to shipment.
" Load and unload using forklift, including containers, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
" Ensure materials are properly identified, labeled and stored in designated locations.
" Maintain accurate inventory.
" Perform cycle counts and assist in inventory reconciliation when needed.
" Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas and ensure materials are properly staged for shipment.
" Communicate shipping damages, shortages and other discrepancies to the Logistic supervisor.
" Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
" Perform other logistics and warehouse duties as assigned.
The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving, inspecting, storing, preparing and shipping finished good products. This position ensures all inbound and outbound shipments are processed in accordance with company procedures, customer requirements, safety standards and applicable transportation regulations.
