Shipping Clerk  - Contract Roles in Southeast Houston - 77087

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (40 hrs/week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track orders to ensure on-time delivery

  • Communicate with vendors, shippers, and customers on order status

  • Handle Overages, Shortages, and Damages (OSD)

  • Process returns, including steel reels and customer-returned materials

  • Prepare pallets/packages for return shipments

  • Coordinate shipments and resolve delays or issues in transit

  • Assist with material handling and operate forklift as needed

  • Maintain accurate records in internal systems

What We’re Looking For:

  • 1+ year of related experience

  • Forklift experience required

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment

  • Basic math and time management skills

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED (college preferred)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work on your feet
