This person will be able to follow instructions as well as proven skills to multitask.Job Responsibilities:Interpret and Identify Military Packaging Codes and Other Contract SpecificationsPackaging & shipping of customer orders (Packaging & Shipping Process)Receiving in all goods and services by accurately counting (manually or by weigh scale) & entering that count into Job Boss (PO Receiving Process)Identify and assist in correcting errors on packing slipsDelivery of items to specified locations or personnelSafe operation of forkliftMake rubber stampsConduct part marking as specified per TravelerManage Packaging Supply InventoryAssist department in maintaining clean and orderly work areaPerforms other job duties as assignedDrive company or other vehicles as needed to expedite shipping Education, Skills & Experience:High School Diploma or GEDMust have a valid driver's licenseProficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) ERP system experience- Previous ERP experience a plusPrior Military packaging experience would be a plusPrior use of shipping software/databasesPrior shipping/receiving experienceAccurate countingAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common factions, and decimals. Ability to use scales/weights and measures. Ability to drive a forklift (previous forklift experience will be a plus)Effective verbal and written communication skills- (Good Customer Service mindset & skills)Self-motivated, responsible, and able to perform with little supervisionExcellent previous attendance recordsReliable, organized, focused and detail oriented Physical demandsPosition may require use of hands & arms with repetitive motion & reach.Position may require manual dexterity for handling tools and equipment. Work EnvironmentThe plant is a machining environment; therefore, you may be required to wear respiratory protection due to air borne particles, chemicals & solvents depending on position. Safety glasses are required at all times in production areas. OSHA regulations are followed
