Shipping & Receiving Clerk / Forklift Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking an organized and active Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage our daily warehouse logistics. This role requires splitting your time between hands-on forklift operation, loading/unloading freight, and handling light clerical duties like data entry and inventory tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse & Forklift Duties
• • Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and stage incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Verify received goods match purchase orders and inspect for damages.
  • Pull, pack, and prepare finished products for safe transport.
• Clerical & Administrative Duties
• • Accurately process bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, and delivery receipts.
  • Enter shipping data and maintain organized electronic and paper files.
  • Coordinate with carriers, track shipments, and assist with cycle counts.
  • Answer phones
  • Light invoicing

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
