Your Impact

As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you will be the guardian of our inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every turn. Your daily efforts will directly support production, guarantee timely deliveries, and maintain the integrity of our inventory.

• Quality Assurance Champion: Collaborate closely with Quality Control to meticulously inspect all incoming goods, ensuring they meet our stringent quality standards before they enter our inventory. Your keen eye for detail will prevent discrepancies and uphold our commitment to excellence.
• Production Flow Facilitator: Efficiently process Production Orders for Work-In-Progress (WIP) parts, guaranteeing that our manufacturing lines receive the components they need, precisely when they need them. You'll be a key player in maintaining our operational rhythm.
• Global Dispatcher: Prepare and organize outgoing shipments for both domestic and international destinations. This includes everything from careful packaging to precise documentation, ensuring products are ready for their journey.
• Inventory Integrity Keeper: Master our inventory management systems, including JD Edwards and WMS, to accurately track and update inventory levels. Your vigilance will ensure data accuracy, supporting efficient planning and preventing stockouts.
• Documentation Virtuoso: Create and manage all essential shipping documents, such as invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading, with impeccable accuracy. Your meticulous record-keeping is crucial for smooth customs clearance and accountability.
• Logistics Operator: Skillfully load and unload trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring safe and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Customs Compliance Expert: Adhere strictly to C-TPAT procedures and other relevant customs regulations, safeguarding the security and legality of our international shipments. Your expertise will be vital in navigating global trade.
• Equipment Steward: Perform daily pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance checks on all material handling equipment, ensuring operational safety and longevity.

• Competitive Salary: This position offers an hourly rate of $17.50.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations role is required.
• System Savvy: Demonstrated proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, specifically JD Edwards, or similar systems.
• Material Handling Expertise: Valid certification and practical experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks are essential. Safety is paramount, and a strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols is a must.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with domestic and international shipping regulations, including C-TPAT procedures, is highly valued.
• Accuracy & Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all documentation and inventory tasks.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively collaborate with team members, quality control, and external partners.

Working With Us

This is a full-time, first-shift position based in our dynamic warehouse facility. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where efficiency and teamwork are highly valued. The scheduled work week is Monday through Friday, with opportunities for overtime as needed to meet operational demands. We provide all necessary safety equipment, material handling equipment, and technology tools required to perform your role effectively. While this is initially a contract role through Arango HRS, there is potential for this position to transition into a permanent opportunity based on performance and business needs, offering a pathway to long-term career stability and growth within our client's organization.
