Description
Accentuate Staffing is assisting an electronic manufacturer in the Raleigh area who is looking for a Shipping/Receiving & Assembly Associate to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity working 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday.
Job Responsibilities
Handle daily shipping and receiving activities, including receiving incoming parts and preparing outgoing shipments
Operate a sit-down forklift to move and organize materials throughout the facility
Pull and stage inventory and materials needed for production and assembly
Package finished products and prepare them for shipment
Perform basic assembly and product testing
Use hand and power tools such as pneumatic rivet tools and electric screwdrivers
Maintain an organized and safe work area
Assist with other warehouse and production duties as needed
Qualifications
Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience required
Sit-down forklift experience strongly preferred
Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse/manufacturing environment
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn basic assembly
Comfortable lifting 40+ lbs.
Comfortable performing repetitive motions with hands
Reliable and able to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Assembly or manufacturing experience is a plus
