Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Seasonal Shipping Verification Clerk for a full-time, 3-month contract. You will ensure order accuracy by counting outbound boxes and applying correct shipping labels. This fast-paced role is critical to meeting our peak season demands and ensuring customers receive the correct shipments.

Compensation, Benefits & Schedule

Rate of pay: $19.00 per hour
Pay frequency: Weekly pay
Position type: Full-time, Seasonal
Duration: 3 months (Fixed-term)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Overtime: Opportunities available during peak weeks

Key Responsibilities

Count boxes against order packing slips.
Verify quantities match the system data exactly.
Apply shipping labels securely to box surfaces.
Inspect packages for damage before final transit.
Report discrepancies in box counts to supervisors.
Scan barcodes to update tracking status systems.
Meet daily targets for labeling and counting volume.
Maintain neatness in the final staging area.

Skills and Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent general education.
Strong counting skills with high attention to detail.
Basic computer literacy for printing barcode labels.
Physical stamina to stand for long shifts.
Lifting ability up to 40 pounds regularly.
Reliable attendance to complete the 3-month term.
Speed and accuracy in fast-paced warehouse settings.
