KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Shipping Manager near Miami Gardens, Florida.
Position Overview
A high-volume (up to 60,000 orders per day) healthcare-related fulfillment operation is seeking an experienced Shipping Manager to oversee daily outbound logistics and distribution performance. This role requires a metrics-driven leader who thrives in fast-paced production environments and has a strong background in large-scale shipping, logistics, or distribution operations. The ideal candidate brings structured operational discipline, strong analytical capability, and a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams that consistently meet demanding throughput and accuracy standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage daily outbound shipping operations to ensure orders are processed accurately and dispatched on schedule.
* Lead and develop shipping personnel, including supervisors and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
* Optimize shipping systems and workflows, including integration of software platforms, scanning equipment, and carrier systems (e.g., major parcel providers).
* Develop and maintain performance dashboards tracking KPIs such as throughput, accuracy, volume, service levels, and error rates.
* Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements to enhance speed, reduce waste, and maintain compliance standards.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to improve packaging workflows, staging processes, and cutoff coordination.
* Conduct routine performance reviews, daily operational check-ins, and structured improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience managing high-volume shipping or distribution operations.
* Background in logistics, manufacturing, production, or warehouse leadership environments.
* Strong working knowledge of KPIs, SLAs, throughput management, cost control, cycle time, and operational efficiency metrics.
* Experience leveraging shipping software systems and operational tools to improve workflow visibility and output.
* Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
* Degree or formal training in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
* Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven industries (healthcare, medical, food, or similar).
* Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
Compensation & Work Structure

* Full-time position (approximately 44 hours per week)
* Standard weekday schedule with occasional extended hours during peak operational periods
