What You'll Do as a Shipping Lead:- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
- Process and log incoming inventory into the inventory management system
- Prepare, package, label, and document outgoing shipments for carrier pickup
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries
- Perform inventory counts and help maintain accurate inventory records
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed
- Resolve shipping and receiving discrepancies, including damaged or incorrect shipments
What You Need to Bring to the Shipping Lead Role:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience required
- Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management software
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documentation and written instructions
- Ability to operate material handling equipment or willingness to learn
