Hire Sync is looking for an experienced Shipping Lead to join a well-established manufacturing company in Twinsburg, OH! This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who isn't afraid to jump in, support their team, and take ownership of daily shipping operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily shipping operations to ensure customer orders are picked, packaged, and shipped accurately and on time.
• Coordinate workflow, assign tasks, and help the shipping team stay productive and organized.
• Train and support new hires on shipping procedures, equipment operation, and safety expectations.
• Verify shipping documents, packing slips, bills of lading, and order accuracy.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers and transportation providers.
• Operate forklifts, tow motors, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
• Monitor shipping schedules and prioritize orders to meet customer deadlines.
• Perform quality checks to ensure products are properly packaged and labeled.
• Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and warehouse recordkeeping.
• Identify and resolve shipping discrepancies, damaged products, and other issues.
• Work closely with production, warehouse, and customer service teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping area.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience.
• Previous team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Hands-on forklift or tow motor operating experience.
• Strong understanding of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping documentation.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory systems, ERP/WMS software, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to train new employees and provide direction to team members.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Good communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• A dependable, team-oriented attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
