Own the Shipping Process From Start to Finish

Spherion Mid Ohio is recruiting an experienced Shipping & Fulfillment Coordinator for a Direct-Hire opportunity with a Bellevue manufacturer.

This isn't a traditional high-volume shipping dock with a large team. You'll take ownership of a smaller shipping area and handle nearly every step required to get finished customer orders packed, documented, staged, and ready for pickup.

You'll work hands-on with products and pallets while also using customer websites, shipping systems, labels, and Bills of Lading. Because different customers have different packaging and shipping requirements, organization, accuracy, and the ability to work independently are essential.

What You'll Do

• Pull finished products from inventory to complete customer orders
• Verify products and quantities for accuracy
• Select the correct boxes and packaging based on customer requirements
• Pack and prepare finished products for shipment
• Build and organize customer orders onto pallets
• Select the correct pallet type for different customers
• Shrink-wrap and band completed pallets
• Apply customer-specific pallet and shipping labels
• Stage completed orders accurately for scheduled carrier pickup
• Organize shipments for semi-truck and parcel delivery
• Access customer websites and shipping portals
• Enter shipment information accurately into online systems
• Generate and print shipping labels and Bills of Lading
• Prepare labels and documentation for daily UPS shipments
• Maintain accurate shipping records and paperwork
• Keep the shipping area organized and orders clearly separated
• Identify and resolve order, packaging, or shipping discrepancies
• Coordinate shipping needs with the Customer Service Coordinator
• Operate a pallet jack and assist with material movement as needed

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who can own a process without needing constant direction.
Strong candidates will bring:

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Experience in shipping, order fulfillment, warehousing, or logistics
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and order accuracy
• Confidence working independently and managing daily priorities
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to comfortably navigate customer websites and shipping systems
• Experience creating or working with shipping labels and documentation
• Ability to learn different customer packaging and shipping requirements
• Comfortable balancing hands-on work with computer and paperwork responsibilities
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Dependable attendance and consistent work habits
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed

Forklift or tow-motor experience is a plus, but not required.

Experience with Bills of Lading, UPS shipping, pallet preparation, order fulfillment, customer shipping portals, or manufacturing logistics may help you stand out.
