Paragon Plastics is seeking a dependable Shipping Coordinator to join our team in Titusville FL. This position is responsible for shipping and delivery duties including operating a forklift, pulling and packaging product, loading trucks, and making customer deliveries.
Job Duties
Drive company truck to deliver product to customers as needed
Pull product from inventory and prepare orders for shipment
Build pallets and secure product for safe delivery
Load and unload trucks using a forklift
Operate forklift according to OSHA and company safety standards
Conduct daily forklift inspections before use
Use IQMS and WMS computer systems
Recognize manufactured parts and labels
Repack and relabel product as needed
Count parts for inventory purposes
Change propane tanks on forklifts
Keep work area clean and organized
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Assist in other departments as assigned
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
Must be able to climb in and out of forklifts and delivery trucks
Position involves sitting, standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand use throughout the shift
Experience operating a forklift is preferred. Candidates must be dependable, safety minded, and able to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
