The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the storage, receiving, and shipment of products while supporting safe and efficient warehouse operations. Communicate with customers, supervisors, contractors, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues.

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the storage, receiving, and shipment of products while supporting safe and efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate receiving, storing, testing, and shipping activities.
• Provide shipping instructions and routing information.
• Coordinate with carriers regarding pickups and deliveries.
• Determine appropriate shipping methods, routes, and rates.
• Help plan transportation routes and delivery schedules.
• Review invoices, work orders, and forecasts to prepare for peak shipping periods.
• Resolve damages, shortages, and product discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers, supervisors, contractors, and internal teams to resolve shipping issues.
• Support warehouse safety and security procedures.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and operational or safety documentation.
• Inspect warehouse conditions, equipment, and vehicle fleets.
• Assist with related shipping and warehouse responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of related warehouse, shipping, logistics, or coordination experience.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Outlook.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
