Shipping Coordinator – Full-Time | On-Site | 8:00 AM Start
Location: Western Suburbs of Chicago
Pay: $25/hr.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator who knows how to keep things moving—literally. This role is essential to ensuring products get where they need to be, on time and without unnecessary delays. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have solid coordination skills, and know your way around shipping logistics, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate daily truck pick-ups
- Maintain and update daily shipment schedules
- Obtain freight quotes and support cost-efficient shipping
- Communicate with Production, Customer Service, and Logistics partners
- Prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, shippers, certifications, international docs)
- Process and track shipments via UPS, FedEx, DHL
- Monitor transportation activity to ensure deadlines are met
- Generate and maintain expedited shipment reports
- Train new team members on shipping processes and safety procedures
- Support compliance with all shipping and safety regulations
