Shipping Clerk – 2nd Shift
Location: Tulsa, OK
Pay: Starting at $18.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Overtime Available: During vacations and call-ins, shifts may extend from 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM.
HireCall is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk for a busy manufacturing and distribution environment. If you have strong organizational skills, enjoy working in a fast-paced setting, and have experience with shipping, receiving, and customer service, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and verify shipments for accuracy.
- Register incoming materials into the inventory system.
- Pair RFID tags with incoming inventory.
- Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs) from work orders.
- Coordinate loading and unloading appointments with carriers.
- Organize inventory for efficient retrieval and shipment.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Prepare regular shipping and receiving reports for management.
- Handle shipping discrepancies and inventory issues.
- Troubleshoot shipping problems and resolve customer concerns.
- Communicate professionally with customers, carriers, brokers, and drivers.
- Follow company safety procedures and environmental management standards.
- Assist with other warehouse and shipping duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience required..
- Experience creating Bills of Lading is a plus.
- Computer skills with the ability to learn inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.
