Description
We are looking for a Shipping Clerk in the Painesville area
8 am - 4:30 pm
$16.00 - $18.00 hourly based on experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, pack, label, and inspect outgoing shipments.
- Verify incoming and outgoing orders against shipping documents.
- Receive freight, report shortages or damages, and complete required paperwork.
- Schedule LTL and small parcel pickups.
- Prepare shipping documentation for Canadian shipments (DDP).
- Maintain shipping supplies and assist with inventory organization.
- Move materials using a forklift or hand truck.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure shipments are accurate and damage-free.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
- Forklift certification required or ability to obtain.
- Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills.
- QuickBooks inventory software experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork
