Position Summary
We are looking for an independent, self-motivated individual who can be flexible and wants to learn multiple positions, that can work comfortably in a fast-paced environment alongside a diverse workforce. Primarily responsible for shipping finished product; will include quality inspections and boxing of product.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Complete shipping cycle – inspect, pack, ship, file paperwork.
- Prepare items for shipping / fulfill sales orders.
- Receive and inspect finished product.
- Box and ship product based on pick instructions.
- Responsible for learning a variety of workstations for fill-ins. Flexes into other departmental functions as necessary.
- Responsible for following all applicable safety/housekeeping guidelines.
- May work on special projects/assignments/other duties upon request.
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills, especially with ERP and shipping systems.
- Shipping and receiving experience preferred; warehouse experience is helpful.
- Ability to read and comprehend (in English) simple and complex instructions. Documents may include: packing lists, work orders, work instructions, manuals, policies and procedures, etc.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Able to lift at least 40lbs without help; able to stoop, squat, bend & reach and be on feet all day.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions presented in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to solve problems in a practical manner.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.
M-F 7am-3:30pm
$20-21/hour DOE
