Shipping Clerk

Using analytical skills to review data and provide information to the Materials Manager and Leadership team. Check customer portals for outstanding or updated customer requirements.

• Verifies ASN (Advanced Shipper Notice) transmisson.
• Prints and distributes daily JIT.
• Check customer portals for outstanding or updated customer requirements.

Required Skills

• Excellent computers skills.
• Ability to safety operate a forklift in tight quarters.
• Work in a fast paced work environment.
• Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
• Knowledge of automotive shipping and receiving.
• Understanding of how a shipping warehouse functions.

Required Experience

Candidates who will be most successful in this role will have experience with:

• Operation of a forklift on a regular basis.
• The ability to learn and navigate systems via a computer quickly.
• Working in a fast paced automotive manufacturing warehouse environment.
• Working with data and using analytical skills daily.

Candidates who will stand out will also have experience in:

• Inventory control.
