We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our client’s team in Liberty, SC. Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities- Coordinate outbound shipments of finished goods and parts orders.
- Pull, pack, and prepare inventory based on customer orders.
- Schedule pickups with LTL carriers.
- Process shipments through ground carriers.
- Load shipments onto trucks safely and efficiently.
- Ensure orders are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify the accuracy and quality of customer orders before shipment.
- Complete and maintain shipping records and required documentation.
- Communicate with the Sales team regarding order updates and changes.
- Work with management and vendors to resolve shipping delays or issues.
- Identify and report warehouse equipment problems.
- Assist in other warehouse functions as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and training requirements.
- Help maintain a safe workplace by identifying and reporting potential hazards.
- Use warehouse tools and equipment safely and maintain equipment properly.
- Immediately report workplace injuries or illnesses to management and Human Resources.
- Attend all required safety meetings and training sessions.
- Comply with all company policies and standard operating procedures.
- Support the company's goals, mission, and core values.
- Meet departmental and individual performance objectives.
Requirements- 1 or more years Forklift experience and warehouse shipping, logistics, or distribution experience preferred.
- Knowledge of LTL and ground shipping processes.
- Experience pulling, packing, and loading customer orders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to maintain accurate shipping documentation.
- Basic computer skills and experience with shipping systems are a plus.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
Shift: 1st Shift 7am to 5:30pm
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour DOE
