Shipping Clerk (1St Shift)

• Material Handling Responsibilities
• Loads or unloads vehicles during delivery
• Places incoming materials in the proper areas for production or office use
• Prepares orders for delivery including packaging, crating, securing loads appropriately, etc.
• Uses various material handling equipment including pallet jacks, fork lift, side loader, etc. to move raw materials or product throughout the building or to prepare orders for delivery

Administrative Responsibilities

• Prepare records of orders shipped (make up bills of lading, post weight and shipping charges, keep files of shipping records)
• Receive incoming shipments of materials or orders to the company (verify correctness of shipments against bills of lading, report damaged goods and shortages, routes good to the proper departments

Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
